This full year course introduces the students to health occupations and career options available in health care. It will provide the students with the knowledge,experience, science and technical skills necessary to enter careers and/or educational programs which are on the frontier of medicine.

The students will learn basic medical concepts relating to experimental research, anatomy and physiology, terminology, and sports medicine. Introduction to laboratory sciences, hands-on activities, as well as guest speakers are essential components of this course. Students will be required to create a medical professions board as well as compiling a portfolio of their work.
